Anita, Chet and Cody make an awesome mother-son team at C4 Builders, and their passion for construction runs deep. Growing up, dinner conversations were all about the family business—Anita running a local commercial contracting company and dad working at a design and engineering firm.

Chet Line, President

Growing up Chet’s early summers were spent working as a laborer for his mother’s construction company. After getting a degree in finance he used that hands-on knowledge to leverage his project management skills on the job site. Working for a local premier general contractor for nearly a decade, Chet has always had a strong focus on relationships and the estimating side of things. Chet served his last few years as Director of Preconstruction before deciding to pursue his dream of opening his own construction company.

One of his main goals is to always build relationships along with projects, it’s the people and the relationships along the way that make the job fun.

In his free-time Chet enjoys exploring the great outdoors across the PNW; hunting, fishing, and golfing. Chet and his wife Ashleigh met at Oregon State and now have three rambunctious young boys!

Anita Hettum, Vice President – Finance

Anita (Chet & Cody’s Mom) is an accomplished business operations strategist and consultant with a robust background in driving organizational growth and efficiency. Previously she has served as President of a local general contractor for over 10 years, and more recently served as the VP of Finance for a large medical device company for 8 years.

In her free time Anita volunteers her time as a puppy raiser for Canine Companions, and serves on the board for The Salvation Army. She is deeply philanthropic and lives to serve others.

Cody Line, Vice President – Construction

Cody spent his summers in college working for the family construction company while pursing a degree at Oregon State in Construction Engineering Management (CEM). After College Cody went to work for a large national general contractor where he spent 7 years leading a new business unit running their mass timber division.

Currently Cody serves as the Vice President of Construction at C4 Builders where he focuses on all aspects of the construction process. His can-do attitude and infectious positive personality always tend to lead to a successful project with repeat clients

In his free time Cody enjoys the great outdoors; fishing, golfing, and hunting. When not enjoying the great outdoors, his life is occupied by competing for Uncle of The Year to his three nephews!
